Building a real web application requires more than just interactive frontend components; it requires robust, ACID-compliant data storage. However, asking an AI to generate a database schema often leads to catastrophic pitfalls: unindexed primary keys, missing foreign key constraints, and unshielded multi-tenant queries that expose user data.
In this article, we examine how Rayvotech's database synthesis engine generates fully normalized, relational PostgreSQL schemas equipped with automated Row-Level Security (RLS) policies.
Third Normal Form (3NF) by Default
When you prompt Rayvotech to build a multi-tenant SaaS application (such as an invoicing portal or CRM), our schema validator decomposes the data model into Third Normal Form (3NF):
- All tables utilize cryptographically secure UUIDv7 primary keys, which combine timestamp ordering with high entropy to prevent enumeration attacks.
- Foreign key constraints enforce referential integrity with explicit
ON DELETE CASCADEorON DELETE SET NULLclauses. - Audit columns (
created_atandupdated_at) are provisioned on every relation with automated trigger functions.
Enforcing Security at the Database Engine Level
Application-level security is inherently fragile. If a developer forgets an AND user_id = :current_user clause in an API route, private records leak across tenant boundaries. Rayvotech eliminates this failure mode by enforcing authorization inside PostgreSQL itself using Row-Level Security.
-- Automated RLS policy generated by Rayvotech Tools
ALTER TABLE customer_invoices ENABLE ROW LEVEL SECURITY;
-- Allow users to only view invoices belonging to their workspace
CREATE POLICY "Tenant isolation for customer_invoices"
ON customer_invoices
FOR ALL
USING (workspace_id = auth.current_workspace_id());
Even if an attacker manipulates the client-side JavaScript bundle or sends forged query parameters, the database engine actively blocks unauthorized row access with zero latency overhead.
Connection Pooling and Sub-Millisecond Queries
To support high-concurrency spikes, every deployed Rayvotech project connects through a managed PgBouncer connection pool operating in transaction mode. This prevents connection exhaustion during viral traffic events and ensures average query latency stays under 1.4 milliseconds.
